Memories of Lew Time spent in Chicago from when he was young probably about 10 him and Tara singing in the back of Kerry’s car singing there hearts out eating at the Japanese steak house , going to chucky cheeses Lew and Tara collecting all the tickets to get a prize , rollerblading with his friends , playing with Tara treating her like she was his little sister , infact they were like brother and sister he was the cutest kid . Great memories of the Christmases spent with Lew in Andover at 55 him diving into his huge sack of presents, Lew in the garden with Tom cutting the holly to hang around the room we loved our Christmases spent together . For the years to come we visited cChicago on a regular basis we saw Lew growing in to a cool teenager , we went shopping one day to buy clothes with him … one time i remember he wanted a style a bit gothic , this wasn’t what Kerry wanted but like all mums she went along with what he wanted he bought this long black coat everything he bought was black anyway few days later the 4 of us headed to Florida for the week so there we all are in our swimsuits lying by the Pool , Lew comes down in his long coat probably 36 c he just wanted to go eat at splash no sunbathing for Lew and would he take off his coat … No way !!! he was sticking to his style and that coat stayed on . We went down to Miami bayside had dinner had a great night the whole holiday was so much fun . As the years passed Lew grew up he became a beautiful young man , like a lot of young people he took a few bad roads Last time we spent time with Lew was in 2014 Lovely day Lew Tara and Myself took kerry’s car and we drove down town Chicago walked around the shops went to the Millennium had a drink in the cafe … that’s where I took that beautiful photo of Lew in the blue jumper No coffee for Lew he was actually at the bar ordering his beer when I took that photo ,, we all knew it was hard to get him to have a photo taken., so that day I got lucky . We then went for lunch at the shrimp place on the Navy pier Lew had a beer that day I remember he told me how he thinks he would like to maybe work as a waiter, he said how he would like to travel . Kerry joined us that night we had a great time checking out the shops taking photos laughing making memories . Not long after Lewis went to live with his friends in Arizona and yes he became a waiter and a good one apparently. Well the end of that holiday at the airport when we left chicago August 2014 was the last time I would see Lew as he was our beautiful blue eyed boy . We will never forget that last hug .. So happy I got to know him and made lots of memories before that tragic night in February 2018 love ya Lew you are our special boy Taras big brother always thinking of you remembering our special times ❤️❤️❤️ Lové you Betty and Tara 😘 😘
